Not everyone wants to spend a small fortune on an outfit they will wear for one night, or go to the effort of planning it, so here are my top five super easy and affordable halloween costumes.
5. Black Cat

Arguably the simplest (and budget-friendly) costume of all (even if it’s not the most original) – a simple black cat. Grab some black clothes then all you need are some cat ears ; (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Fabric-Alice-Headband-Fancy/dp/B01KI4O3H8/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=cat+ears&qid=1571675549&refinements=p_76%3A419158031&rnid=419157031&rps=1&sr=8-5) these are £2.39 and eligible for one-day delivery with amazon prime, if you’ve left it a little late! Or pop to primark, Claire’s accessories or even a supermarket!) then draw on a black nose and whiskers and you’re good to go!
4. Men (or women, shoutout to MIB international) in Black

Black trousers, black tie, black blazer, white shirt and the all important sunglasses. Bonus points if you have a pug.
3. Angel/Devil

Super cute for two people but can definitely pick one and do it solo. You’ll find cheap devil horns/angel halos and wings in bargain shops, supermarkets or online. Other than that if you wear red/black for a devil, white for an angel then you’re good to go! Or if you want to shake it up a bit, find some black angel accessories paired with a black outfit and go for an angel of death.
2. The Purge

This one would be super cool for a group costume, or you can do it solo. All you need is an old outfit that you can rip up, put some fake blood on and a purge mask. Here’s a link for the LED masks for £5.39 with free UK delivery, and they’re buy one get one 30% off!
1. Error 404 : Costume not found
Okay this may beat the black cat for the simplest and most budget friendly costume out there. Grab yourself a white t-shirt and a sharpie and write something along the lines of “Error 404 : costume not found” , or even use a piece of paper!! There you have the easiest costume with MINIMAL effort and cost.
